If you've ever seen Shark Week, you know that sharks are NOT something you wanna F with.
But they ARE something you wanna very, very, very safely slide past at a million miles an hour, which you can now totally do thanks to Atlantis Paradise Island Resort's Leap of Faith.
Located in the non-Tommy Bahamas, the slide starts you down the face of a Mayan Temple with an almost vertical drop, then 60 feet later you blast through a clear, acrylic tube that leads you through a freaking SHARK LAGOON filled with a bunch of SHARKS that're all SHARKING around.
Along with the Leap of Faith, they've also got the Serpent Slide -- a classic five-story corkscrew through the inside of the temple that ends with you through another clear, acrylic tube, except this time you go super slowly through the tube while the SHARKS bang their dumb heads into the glass, trying to break it open so they can eat your face off. (I assume.)
Both shark slides are totally free to ride as many times as you dare if you're staying at the resort (as is the rest of their 141-acre waterscape which includes 20,000,000 gallons of water, a mile-long river ride, 20 swimming areas, A WATER FORT, and 11 pools).
If you're not, it's $120 for an adult day pass that super sadly doesn't include shark murder insurance.
